Our extensive range of pilot coating equipment can help development of sustainable fiber-based packaging materials. Projects often include plastic replacement, biobased coatings, and novel coating structures.

Machine 1: Pilot dispersion coater. - Web width: 600 mm

Several application methods including: Rod, Curtain, Blade, Filmpress, Jet, Roll
Massive drying capacity: 3 IR + 4 air flotation dryers
Speeds up to 3000 m/min
Calendering possible

Machine 2: Extrusion coater + Extrusion laminator

Web width: max 500 mm
4 extruders, multiple selector plugs
Up to 5 layers
Speeds up to 400 m/min
Several surface treatments possible: Corona, flame, UV, pre-coating

Machine 3: Gravure coater + test laminator

Web width: 400 mm
Application of coating by anilox roll (several volumes available) or by air-assisted spray
Speeds up to 100 m/min
Air drying
Wet and dry lamination possible

Machine 4: Sheetfed offset printer

Sheet size max 530 x 740 mm
Max speed 15.000 sheets/hour
Application of coating by flexo varnishing unit (banded anilox roll)
