Our biomethylation platform enables efficient biosynthesis of methylated compounds through precision fermentation by enhancing intracellular regeneration of S-adenosylmethionine (SAM), a key methyl donor. This approach addresses a major bottleneck in metabolic engineering, where limited SAM availability restricts production yields and scalability.
By improving cofactor efficiency within microbial systems, the platform allows cost-effective and scalable production of high-value methylated molecules for flavors, fragrances, and health-related applications. We are exploring target compounds and applications with partners and are open to collaboration for PoC development, strain engineering, and commercialization pathways.
