Our methodology at IFGA Labs centers on ROME (Repeatable Objective Measurement of Eyetrack) — a rapid, non-invasive platform that leverages high-precision computer vision and eye-tracking to capture dynamic oculomotor data in approximately 90 seconds. Participants engage with simple visual stimuli while our system records key eye movement patterns, including saccades (rapid shifts), smooth pursuits, fixations, and fixational micro-movements. These signals are processed through explainable AI algorithms rooted in defense-grade optical tracking expertise, transforming raw visual behavior into objective, quantifiable biomarkers of cognitive and neurological function. This approach is hardware-flexible, repeatable without baselines, and designed for real-world settings such as clinics, gyms, or wellness programs. We are actively advancing clinical validation through targeted studies comparing ROME metrics against established neuropsychological assessments and neuroimaging where applicable, with a focus on sensitivity to conditions like concussion/TBI recovery, cognitive aging, and early neurodegenerative changes. Key performance metrics include oculomotor precision, variability in pursuit gain, saccadic latency/accuracy, and composite cognitive performance scores. Next steps include expanded pilot deployments with partners, larger-scale validation trials, regulatory pathway development for clinical use, and integration of longitudinal tracking features to support proactive brain health monitoring. Our goal is to deliver accessible, actionable insights that empower individuals, clinicians, and organizations to optimize brain performance and detect changes earlier.

About IFGA Labs

IFGA Labs is an organization focused on simplifying, improving affordability, and increasing accessibility for brain health monitoring. The company is developing noninvasive, inexpensive testing solutions that allow individuals to track their brain health on their own schedules through local providers. By bridging the gap between clinical medical tools and general wellness products, IFGA Labs aims to empower people to monitor their cognitive health as part of their daily wellness routines.

This initiative is particularly significant for populations such as young athletes, soldiers in combat, and others at risk for traumatic brain injuries or post-concussion impacts. By collecting longitudinal data, the platform seeks to help users and their healthcare providers identify patterns that improve predictive medical outcomes. Led by veterans, the company is actively developing digital tools, including a mobile application, to shift public attitudes and provide actionable insights that help individuals proactively manage their brain health.
