Ibn Tofail University is a large, multidisciplinary public university in Kenitra, serving over 60,000 students across 11 establishments on a compact campus in the Maâmora Forest. Industry engagement is organized through the University Center for Analysis, Technology Transfer Expertise, and Incubation, which offers shared analysis platforms, IP and patent support, and an incubator to accelerate collaboration. The campus also hosts a Cité d’Innovation and a Digital Innovation Hub that help companies pilot digital transformation and co-develop solutions with faculty and students. Proximity to the Atlantic Free Zone—home to Stellantis and a dense supplier base—creates a direct bridge to Morocco’s automotive manufacturing ecosystem and shortens pathways from prototypes to pilots. Research is supported by national funding and competitive international programs; a dedicated technology transfer office streamlines IP, licensing, and startup formation.
