Innovative cyclodextrin-stabilized creatine powders enhance solubility and stability, utilizing electrostatic spray drying to create pH-sensitive microcapsules for improved bioavailability. Ideal for integration in food and beverage applications.
This solution utilizes cyclodextrin-stabilized creatine powders produced through electrostatic spray drying, aimed at enhancing the solubility and stability of creatine in food and beverage applications. The inclusion complexes formed with GRAS cyclodextrins prevent intramolecular cyclization, boosting solubility, while the glass-forming matrix of maltodextrin and trehalose immobilizes the complex, offering protection during high-temperature processing. The innovative use of electrostatic spray drying creates pH-sensitive microcapsules that ensure bioavailability by dissolving in gastric conditions.
This technology is currently at TRL 4, with initial formulation and bench proof completed. Future phases include process optimization, pilot-scale production, and regulatory compliance documentation to advance to pilot-scale production and industrial integration.
