Alert Scientific provides both on-site and laboratory-based pipette calibration, preventive maintenance, repair, adjustment, and verification services for single-channel, multi-channel, and electronic pipettes. Our services are designed to support laboratories that require compliance with ISO 8655 and quality systems that rely on traceable, documented measurement results.
Our calibration laboratory utilizes a Sartorius Cubis® II MCA balance system for gravimetric pipette calibration and verification work. Calibration activities are managed through Ingenix calibration software, which controls testing workflows, captures measurement data, calculates results, and generates comprehensive calibration documentation. Our process supports the collection of As-Found and As-Left data, allowing customers to document instrument performance before and after service.

For customers requiring minimal downtime, services can be performed either at our East Hartford facility or on-site at customer locations. Scheduling is arranged directly through our service team and can be customized to support routine calibration intervals, compliance programs, or large pipette fleet assessments.
Having previously supported laboratories throughout the Northeast, including calibration work performed at PepsiCo's Valhalla facility while with Eppendorf, I understand the importance of maintaining accurate liquid handling equipment, complete documentation, and audit-ready records. Since Eppendorf has discontinued field service support for its Manual Liquid Handling division, Alert Scientific is well positioned to continue providing the same type of calibration, maintenance, and repair support for laboratories that previously relied on those services.
