A high-purity, fully soluble bean protein ingredient for ready-to-drink beverages, optimized for clarity and heat stability across neutral pH ranges. This sustainable, allergen-friendly alternative to dairy proteins is produced using a proprietary membrane-based separation platform.

Overview

This innovative solution offers a fully soluble, high-purity bean protein ingredient specifically designed for high-protein, ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages. Utilizing a proprietary membrane-based separation and purification platform, the technology ensures the protein remains optically clear and stable across neutral pH ranges (4 to 10), even under severe thermal processing. This makes it an ideal sustainable and allergen-friendly alternative to dairy proteins, overcoming traditional limitations of plant proteins such as turbidity and heat instability.

Technical specifications
  • Proprietary membrane-based separation: Combines controlled alkaline extraction with multi-stage ultrafiltration/diafiltration.
  • High-purity protein fraction: Selective carbohydrate removal preserves native protein structure while eliminating insoluble starches and flavor-active impurities.
  • Neutral pH and heat stability: Maintains clarity and solubility across pH ranges of 4 to 10, suitable for thermal processes in beverage applications.
Technology readiness level

The technology is at TRL 4, having completed initial phases of optimized membrane fractionation and functionality property tests. Future validation includes clarity, solubility, and heat stability tests in model RTD beverages, followed by scale-up and sensory validation for commercial deployment.
