My research expertise pertains to the Gut - Brain - Skin Axis utilizing human trials. My research portfolio focuses heavily on how various dietary patterns, functional fibers, and macronutrients impact satiety, biomarkers of health, dietary intake, fitness markers, and body composition. Recent work is being proposed to investigate how whole foods and natural dietary supplements alter the gut microbiome, regulate appetite, and enhance dermatological assessments (appearance and protection against UV damage).

For commercial partners, my comprehensive background offers substantial value in clinical trial design, ingredient validation, and product substantiation. Food and ingredient industry partners can utilize my extensive testing protocols to engineer functional foods that optimize various health outcomes. Fitness and supplement brands can leverage decades of research expertise in sports nutrition, protein metabolism, and nutrient timing to validate products aimed at performance, muscle preservation, and weight management. Additionally, my forward-looking exploration into bioactive compounds and nutritional therapeutics provides a unique bridge for cosmetic and nutri-cosmetic developers seeking to substantiate "beauty-from-within" oral supplements that target skin biomarkers and cellular health. Through rigorous methodology and a consumer-facing platform, I provide industry collaborators with data necessary to innovate safely and dismantle mainstream health myths.
