Innovative fluorine-free coating offering low adhesion properties at high temperatures, suitable for polyisocyanurate cured foam. Demonstrates durability and resistance to abrasion, making it ideal for industrial applications.

Overview

This cutting-edge coating technology offers a fluorine-free solution for applications requiring low adhesion at elevated temperatures. Developed to operate effectively at 100°C, this coating does not adhere to polyisocyanurate cured foam, making it ideal for various industrial uses. Its performance has been validated through rigorous testing, showing exceptional durability and resistance to abrasion.

Technical specifications

Key features:

  • Operates effectively at temperatures up to 110°C
  • Demonstrates low adhesion, as tested by water sliding angle measurements
  • Maintains performance under standard tape tests
  • Abrasion resistance with a hardness of at least H6
  • Applied as a thin film of a few micrometers

The coating's durability and resistance to harsh conditions make it a superior choice for industries requiring reliable low-adhesion surfaces.

Technology readiness level

This technology is at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5, indicating that it has been validated in relevant environments. Further testing will ensure its performance during polymer curing and determine any necessary modifications to enhance abrasive resistance.
