MicroCD Labs provides end-to-end engineering support for microfluidic, diagnostic, and life-science product development. We help startups, research groups, and established companies translate early concepts into functional prototypes, testable systems, and manufacturing-ready designs.
Our services can include:
Projects are delivered through defined milestones, typically beginning with a technical consultation and requirements review. Deliverables may include CAD files, engineering drawings, system concepts, prototype assemblies, test plans, supplier recommendations, design reports, and development roadmaps.
Typical turnaround ranges from one to two weeks for an initial engineering assessment or focused design task, and four to twelve weeks for more involved prototype-development projects. Capacity depends on scope, but we can generally support several focused engineering engagements or one to three larger development programmes at a time.
This service is best suited for early-stage companies, university laboratories, diagnostic developers, assay teams, contract manufacturers, and product teams that need practical, hands-on engineering support without building a full internal development group.
MicroCD Labs is particularly well suited to projects involving microfluidics, diagnostic consumables, compact instruments, sample-to-answer workflows, custom laboratory hardware, and interdisciplinary products combining mechanical, fluidic, electronic, and biological requirements.
