Innovative mouse model mimicking rheumatoid arthritis through inflammasome activation provides a platform for validating new therapeutic strategies targeting inflammasome and necroptosis pathways.
Our unique mouse model of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) offers a novel approach to study the disease's pathogenesis and test potential treatments. Unlike traditional models dependent on TNF, this model highlights the role of myeloid cell necroptosis and IL-1b cytokine release through inflammasome activation. This breakthrough allows for the exploration of inflammasome and necroptosis-based therapeutic strategies, offering new avenues for RA treatment.
This technology is at TRL 4, indicating that it has been validated in the lab and is ready for experimental applications in specialized settings to further explore its therapeutic potential.
