NeuroStabilene™ is a modular peptide conjugate. Three components sit on one molecule: a blood-brain barrier delivery module, a pathological-protein binder, and a masked lysosomal-clearance motif. The program sits at Whitaker Syndicates LLC in Logan, Utah. NeuroStabilene™ is a Delaware C-corp in formation. Inventor is James B. Whitaker, Ph.D.
Those components already have standing relevance in dogs in the academic literature, but we have no canine data. Aged dogs spontaneously develop canine cognitive dysfunction (CCD/CCDS), the closest natural analog of Alzheimer’s in a companion animal. The literature is consistent on human-type Aβ plaques in cortex and hippocampus, often with cerebral amyloid angiopathy. Tau in dogs is usually pre-tangle: synaptic hyperphosphorylation and mislocalization are reported; mature neurofibrillary tangles are rare. Recent papers also report blood-brain barrier dysregulation in dogs with CCD. So a BBB module and a protein-specific binder are not a human-only idea. A canine-specific version would keep the BBB and masked-clearance modules and choose the binder against that literature (Aβ-predominant, with phosphorylated tau present).
The conjugate does three jobs. The BBB module is meant to get the construct past endothelium into neurons. The binder engages the chosen pathological protein. The clearance motif stays masked until it should route that cargo to the lysosome.
What exists is a designed construct family, a falsifiable in-vitro study plan, and a provisional patent on the peptide-lipid tau and BBB family (applicant Whitaker Syndicates LLC). This plan can be easily adapted to a canine study process.
Preferred development model: the partner secures an option to license plus funds paid CRO or academic research. Open to other partnering models. Structures and enabling chemistry under NDA only.
Not claimed: efficacy, canine results, pharmaceutical “interest,” or a dated proof-of-mechanism. This is a potential path to a nove therapeutic grounded in real academic literature.
