Innovative non-invasive immunotherapy platform using transdermal and mucosal delivery for respiratory and gastrointestinal allergies. Demonstrated effectiveness in animal models with significant IgE reduction and enhanced allergen penetration. Future clinical trials planned.
This non-invasive immunotherapy platform offers a revolutionary approach to treating respiratory and gastrointestinal allergies. By leveraging advanced transdermal and mucosal delivery systems, it ensures efficient allergen penetration without the invasiveness of traditional methods. The technology has shown promising results, achieving a 94% reduction in IgE levels in animal models, comparable to subcutaneous therapy. It also utilizes a proprietary iontophoresis and ionic liquid technology, enhancing intradermal delivery by 3 to 5 times compared to existing solutions like Viaskin®.
The platform integrates multiple innovative technologies:
The technology is currently at TRL 5, having progressed beyond conceptualization to integration and validation. Future plans include optimizing materials for sustained release, expanding the platform to other allergens like pollen and pet dander, and generating IND-enabling safety and efficacy data for clinical trials.
