PinPlot is an advanced imaging solution designed to enhance precision in agricultural research by creating detailed open-field plot grids. Utilizing high-resolution UAV multispectral images, PinPlot separates individual plants from the background to map their exact coordinates. This technology outputs a comprehensive geoJSON file containing precise spatial data for each plant across an entire field, facilitating improved analysis and decision-making in agricultural settings.

Technology readiness level

This technology is currently at TRL 3. The process has been validated in controlled environments using high-resolution image data, but further testing and refinement are required before it can be deployed in broader field applications.
