Full Health Clarity’s VERA™ platform is a provider-side medical device management platform that makes Unique Device Identifier data actionable at the point of care across the device lifecycle. Devices now carry UDI labels and manufacturers submit device data to regulatory systems, providers often lack a reliable way to capture, validate, and use that information consistently.

The gap exist between device label, clinical procedure, patient record, inventory visibility, and recall response. It enables care teams to scan device identifiers, validate device information, and link the complete UDI record to the patient, encounter, and procedure in a way that is actionable, auditable, and useful beyond basic documentation.

Two core needs: Device Fitness for Use and Recall Exposure. Device Fitness for Use means confirming, at the moment of selection or use, that a specific product is appropriate, valid, and safe for care—not expired, recalled, contraindicated, or otherwise unsuitable. Recall Exposure means rapidly determining whether affected products are in inventory, where they moved, whether they were used, and which patients may be associated with them.

This matters: Device data is fragmented or incomplete, clinical teams may not know whether a device is safe to use, supply chain teams may lack visibility into affected inventory, and revenue cycle

A care team member scans the UDI label using a mobile-enabled process. The platform captures the Device Identifier and, where available, the Production Identifier, including lot, serial, expiration, or manufacturing data. This is essential because many recalls apply to specific lots or serial numbers, not just product families.

Once captured, VERA uses UDI as a key to validate device information, identify recall or expiration concerns, and preserve a record linking the product on the shelf, the product used in the procedure, the patient encounter, and downstream safety, documentation, recall, and outcomes use cases.
