Company

Samved Fugall is a proprietary blend of potentized botanical extracts designed to enhance photosynthesis, nutrient uptake, and crop yield across cotton, grapes, and maize. It offers a sustainable alternative to chemical inputs by improving CO2 absorption and plant vigor.

Overview

Samved Fugall is a proprietary agricultural bio-stimulant developed by Vasumitra Life Energies P Ltd to reduce reliance on chemical inputs and promote sustainable farming. The product is a combination of potentized botanical extracts formulated to enhance plant physiological processes, including phosphorus and potassium uptake, CO2 absorption, and photosynthesis rate. By improving these fundamental functions, Samved Fugall aims to deliver significantly higher yields across a range of crops. The solution addresses the growing demand for sustainable agricultural inputs that maintain productivity while minimizing environmental impact.

Technical specifications

Key features and observed benefits:

  • Enhanced photosynthesis: Foliar application at 2 ml per liter has been shown to increase leaf area index, chlorophyll content, and photosynthesis rate in treated plants compared to untreated controls.
  • Improved nutrient uptake: Promotes higher phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) absorption and use efficiency in crops.
  • Yield improvement: Demonstrated significant increases in yield attributes across multiple crops, including cotton boll count and plant height, grape berry size and bunch weight, and maize yield.
  • Crop versatility: Validated on cotton, grapes, and maize, with broader crop applicability under investigation.
  • Application protocol: Applied as a foliar spray at specific growth stages, such as 60 and 90 days after sowing (DAS) in cotton.
Technology readiness level

Samved Fugall has progressed beyond initial concept validation. Field studies in collaboration with the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad (India) have confirmed yield improvements in cotton, and trials with MPKV, Rahuri have validated benefits in grapes. Field trials on maize are currently underway at the University of Debrecen, Hungary. Future validation efforts will employ high-resolution mass spectrometry at India's National Research Centre for Grapes to screen and characterize the phytochemical constituents of the formulation, further elucidating its mode of action on the biochemical pathway of photosynthesis. The product is positioned for expanded field validation and commercial scaling.
