Tecrea's Nanocin™ platform offers a novel sprayable wound treatment for cattle, combining insecticidal efficacy, antimicrobial action, and visible marking. Utilizing a cationic polymer, it enhances active retention on wounds, ensuring prolonged protection against screwworms.

Overview

Tecrea's innovative solution leverages the Nanocin™ platform to provide a comprehensive sprayable treatment for screwworm control in cattle. This treatment combines insecticidal efficacy, antimicrobial protection, and visual tracking, all in one practical spray. The platform uses a cationic polymer that complexes with approved insecticidal actives like doramectin, moxidectin, fipronil, or spinosad. The inclusion of a food-safe dye ensures easy identification of treated areas, enhancing management efficiency on farms.
