IFM contains a range of different characterisation technologies available including but not limited to: SEM, FTIR, Polarised Raman, Water Contact angle, Particle sizer, Rheology, UV-Vis, confocal microscopy, AFM, Instron, Universal testing machine, Circular Dichroism, BET, Zeta potential, TGA, SDS-PAGE, cutter milling, cryo-mills.
Additionally, we have a range of specialised textile and fibre spinning equipment: staple fibre (twisting, carding, combing etc.), knitting and weaving machines, melt-spinning apparatus, wet-spinning apparatus (lab and pilot).
