We are interested in working to improve biofungicides for ticks. Specifically we are interested in selecting for highly tick-specific strains in the lab that do not affect other arthropods. These biofungicides hold great promise for controlling tick populations, and if made even more tick-specific, would be a great green alternative for state agencies and property owners.
