Overview
Our innovative technology leverages the properties of cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) to develop ultra-low permeable polyethylene packaging. By incorporating CNCs into high-density polyethylene through reactive methods and orientation of nanocrystals, we achieve a composite material with superior permeation resistance. This advancement enhances packaging reliability by significantly reducing oxygen and carbon dioxide permeation, making it suitable for sensitive goods.

Technology readiness level
Currently at Technology Readiness Level 2, the technology is in the research and validation phase. Future plans include selecting optimal CNC materials, preparing and characterizing composites, and conducting comprehensive compliance testing to ready for scaling and commercialization.
