eos Agriculture is a mechanism-led agricultural biotechnology platform developing standardized plant biostimulants and crop-system technologies for germination, root establishment, abiotic-stress resilience, crop quality and measurable productivity. The platform combines circular botanical actives, controlled formulation development, crop-specific dose optimization, mechanistic studies and multi-site field validation to build a pipeline of scalable agricultural inputs.

Flagship technology—BioPropello™: BioPropello is the platform’s first commercially manufactured biostimulant: a water-soluble, olive-derived polyphenol formulation standardized to ≥12% hydroxytyrosol. It acts through antioxidant priming, stress-response signaling and modulation of plant metabolic pathways rather than through conventional nutrient supply, making it complementary to existing fertilization programs.

Evidence to date: Across controlled and field studies, BioPropello has demonstrated improved crop establishment, growth and productivity. Representative results include corn germination of 75% versus 26.7% in controls; sorghum germination of 78.4% versus 36%; a 48.7% improvement in an independent Texas A&M sorghum study (p<0.00002); and a French field study in which treated green beans emerged in five versus ten days (p=0.0079), produced 4.7× more pods per plant and reached first yield 11 days earlier. Proteomic work indicates induction of Rubisco, HSP70, HSP100 and PR/LTP/LEA-related proteins, supporting the platform’s proposed stress-priming mechanism.

Development engine: Veos applies a repeatable development model across crops and future formulations: mechanism selection, controlled germination and growth studies, dose-response optimization, multi-site field trials, analytical standardization, regulatory qualification and commercial deployment. Current programs include replicated French trials in lettuce and pea cultivars and controlled Arabica coffee studies across commercially relevant varieties.

Circular manufacturing: BioPropello valorizes hydroxytyrosol-rich olive-sector side-streams through standardized, batch-controlled manufacturing. The product is supplied with a certificate of analysis and safety data sheet and is designed for compatibility with seed treatment, root application, fertigation and foliar programs, subject to crop-specific optimization.

Status and partnerships: BioPropello is CE-marked as an EU plant biostimulant and commercially manufactured, while additional technologies and crop-specific protocols are progressing through the Veos Agriculture development pipeline. Veos seeks partners for sponsored research, multi-crop field validation, new botanical-active development, olive-side-stream valorization, territory distribution and licensing, including its active Japanese market-entry program.
