Aligarh Muslim University – Food Technology Research

Aligarh Muslim University is a large central public research university in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, with a comprehensive residential character and a broad international student base. Its Centre for Food Science & Technology is developing pilot-scale food-processing capability and structured routes for consultancy, training, internships, and technology transfer with industry. Post-harvest engineering facilities add laboratories for product development, food analysis, microbiology, instrumentation, and food engineering, supporting practical validation of processing concepts. Research infrastructure has received support from India’s Department of Science and Technology and Department of Biotechnology, alongside competitive government funding. An Intellectual Property Cell supports patenting, technology transfer, and commercialization.
