Campden BRI is an independent, membership‑based research and technology organization serving the global food and drink sector, with its main site in Chipping Campden and additional operations in Surrey and Budapest. Industry access is built into the model: co‑located UKAS‑accredited laboratories, extensive pilot‑scale processing halls, and a dedicated consumer test centre enable confidential, end‑to‑end problem solving and scale‑up with rapid turnaround. Member companies shape a shared research agenda while also commissioning proprietary projects, training, and regulatory guidance through established contractual frameworks. Work is supported by a mix of member‑funded programs, fee‑for‑service contracts, and selected publicly funded collaborations. Clear IP and confidentiality arrangements support commercialization and implementation with partners.
