Columbia College-Hollywood

Columbia College Hollywood was a small, private film and media college in Los Angeles known for hands‑on, studio‑based instruction. Co‑located soundstages, production studios, and post suites enabled close collaboration with professionals across the Hollywood ecosystem, including internships and project‑based engagements. In 2023 the college affiliated with Arizona State University, operated from ASU’s California Center in downtown Los Angeles, and then ceased operations on December 19, 2025. Activities were supported primarily by tuition, philanthropy, and private partnerships with limited competitive federal research funding.
