Formerly a public hospital complex in Pamplona, Navarra, it is now Hospital Universitario de Navarra, a large tertiary referral hospital with integrated clinical services, specialist training, research infrastructure, and regional health-system reach. Its campus connects care with universities and biomedical partners.
Complejo Hospitalario de Navarra was a large public hospital complex in Pamplona and Navarra’s reference provider for specialized and tertiary care; since 2021, it has operated as Hospital Universitario de Navarra. With roughly 1,100 beds and more than 6,300 professionals, it combines hospital-based research, specialist training, and access to a broad public patient population. Its healthcare campus connects the hospital with the Public University of Navarra, University of Navarra, Navarrabiomed, and IdiSNA, bridging care, education, and translational research. Research draws on support from Spain’s Instituto de Salud Carlos III, the Government of Navarra, European programs, and charitable foundations.
