Duquesne University

Duquesne University is a mid-sized, comprehensive private Catholic university in Pittsburgh with a broad portfolio of professional and graduate programs. Its downtown location places researchers in Pittsburgh’s healthcare, technology, and energy economy, with ready access to partners and facilities. Clinical collaboration is amplified by the university’s new College of Osteopathic Medicine and long-standing relationships with regional hospital systems. The School of Science and Engineering serves as a dynamic research hub across eight departments that span biomedical engineering, chemistry and biochemistry, civil and environmental engineering, biological sciences, and more with particular strengths in microfluidics, biosensors, tissue engineering, environmental science, and computational research.
