HUN-REN Research Centre for Natural Sciences

HUN-REN Research Centre for Natural Sciences is a national, multi-institute public research centre in Budapest, combining discovery-oriented work with pathways toward practical use. Its modern facility supports shared instrumentation, collaboration across institutes, and access to nationally recognized research infrastructure, including the Brain Imaging Centre and Centre for Structural Science. As part of HUN-REN, it connects with universities, industry, and other research institutions in Hungary and internationally. Research is supported by competitive Hungarian and European funding, including the National Research, Development and Innovation Office and Horizon Europe. HUNRENTECH Ltd., HUN-REN’s technology-transfer company, provides a route for intellectual property, licensing, and market-facing development.
