Polish applied-research institute in Kędzierzyn-Koźle with chemical laboratories, analytical testing, pilot facilities, process-design capability, and industrial technology-transfer experience. Formerly ICSO “Blachownia,” it now operates in the Łukasiewicz Research Network under a new name.
Łukasiewicz–ICSO is a specialized, mid-sized Polish applied-research institute in Kędzierzyn-Koźle with a long-standing industrial orientation. Its laboratories provide chemical analysis, research services, consulting, process design, and technology development for domestic and international partners. A pilot-scale laboratory building and technology hall help validate results before transfer into industrial practice, while membership in the Łukasiewicz Research Network broadens research and business connections. Funding comes through Poland’s National Centre for Research and Development, National Science Centre, and state and European programs. Formerly known as the Institute of Heavy Organic Synthesis “Blachownia,” it adopted the name Institute of Renewable Raw Materials Chemistry in 2026.
