Kisii University

Kisii University is a large public research university in western Kenya, with more than 30,000 students and a broad, community-oriented character. Its campus combines teaching and research laboratories, library and digital repository services, career support, and formal capacity for research, extension, consultancy, and external linkages. A dedicated research and innovation function coordinates sponsored research, partnerships, intellectual-property support, technology transfer, commercialization, and entrepreneurship, while Innovation Week convenes researchers, industry, government, and development partners. Research is supported through competitive national and international funding, with collaboration across government, NGOs, industry, and other universities.
