Kumasi Technical University

Kumasi Technical University is a public technical university in Ghana’s Ashanti Region, focused on applied, hands‑on education and industry‑engaged research. Industry connectivity is systemic: structured industrial attachments are coordinated via an Industrial Liaison platform that links students and companies. An on‑campus innovation hub with prototyping tools and an institute that oversees technology transfer and incubation provide a path from scoping to proof‑of‑concept. Based in Kumasi, a major manufacturing and commercial center, the university formalizes partnerships with firms through MoUs. Research is supported by external sponsors, development partners, and industry contracts.
