Kunming University of Science and Technology

Kunming University of Science and Technology is a large, comprehensive public research university with an engineering-oriented, application-focused character, serving nearly 50,000 students across three campuses in Kunming. Its industry-facing model is anchored by national engineering research platforms and a university science park, creating routes for applied research, technical cooperation, and external partnership. Fourteen clinical teaching bases and extensive international links support regional development in Yunnan and cooperation across South and Southeast Asia. Research is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and programs administered by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Education. A National Technology Transfer Center and national technology-transfer demonstration status support IP, licensing, and commercialization.
