National academy of sciences headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, with 70 scientific institutes, 4,200+ researchers, specialized laboratories, regional branches, and international research stations. Its institute-based structure gives companies direct paths to expertise, facilities, collaborative R&D, and technology transfer.
The Polish Academy of Sciences is a national academy and distributed public research organization, headquartered in Warsaw and comprising 70 scientific institutes with more than 4,200 institute researchers. Rather than operating as a single campus, it connects specialized institutes, laboratories, research facilities, regional branches, and six international stations across Poland and abroad. This structure lets corporate R&D teams engage at the institute level through collaborative research, contract services, shared equipment, consortia, doctoral training, and commercialization pathways. Research is supported by Poland’s National Science Centre and National Centre for Research and Development, European Commission framework programs, and other competitive national and international sources.
