Royal GD

Royal GD is an independent animal-health research and contract-testing organization in Deventer, Netherlands, with about 400 employees and a veterinary laboratory conducting nearly five million analyses annually. Its industry-facing model integrates veterinary expertise, diagnostics, applied research, and field surveillance, connecting laboratory evidence with farm-level practice. Contract research is supported by controlled animal facilities, in-vitro capabilities, and an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory. Funding comes mainly from commercial contracts, customer services, externally funded programs, and government or international partnerships; dedicated R&D staff support validation, custom testing, and translation into animal-health products and programs.
