United Arab Emirates University

United Arab Emirates University is the country’s flagship public research university in Al Ain, combining comprehensive academic breadth with a mission to deliver impact for government and industry. A science and innovation park co‑locates companies with faculty and student talent, while shared core facilities and prototyping spaces enable rapid testing and validation. Integration with regional hospital partners supports clinical translation, and location within the Abu Dhabi–Dubai corridor streamlines engagement with major industrial ecosystems. Research is supported by national UAE funding agencies and foundations, competitive international sponsors, and industry contracts. A dedicated technology transfer office manages IP, licensing, startup formation, and industry‑sponsored research agreements.
