Universidad de Colima

Universidad de Colima is a large public, autonomous research university serving more than 30,000 students across multiple educational levels, with a broad and socially engaged character. Nine university research centers, shared scientific infrastructure, and a statewide campus presence support collaboration with external partners and talent development. Its Directorate of Linkage coordinates consulting, technical assistance, professional services, student placements, agreements, and knowledge and technology transfer with public and productive sectors; incubation and intellectual-property processes add commercialization support. Research receives competitive national funding, particularly from SECIHTI, formerly CONAHCYT, plus institutional and international support.
