Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin

Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) is a comprehensive public university serving Malaysia’s East Coast, with multiple campuses across Terengganu. The institution connects with industry through structured internships and practicums, contract research, and clinical partnerships with regional hospitals that facilitate translation and real-world validation. Its Terengganu footprint situates UniSZA near Malaysia’s East Coast energy and petrochemical hub and key maritime activity, enabling field access and collaboration with established firms and SMEs. Research is backed by competitive funding from Malaysian government ministries and national research agencies, with additional support from industry and international sponsors. A technology transfer office supports IP, licensing, and startups.
