University of Delhi

University of Delhi is a large public central research university with 16 faculties, 86 departments, 91 colleges, and more than 600,000 learners across conventional, open, and non-collegiate modes. Its distributed footprint across Delhi gives corporate R&D teams access to a broad academic and student base, while the Research Council and R&D Cell support sponsored research and university–industry collaboration. Innovation pathways include incubation facilities, the Electropreneur Park, a Technology Business Incubator, a Design Innovation Centre, and dedicated patent and technology-transfer processes. Research is supported by competitive funding from UGC, DST, DBT, CSIR, ICMR, ICAR, and DRDO. The university also supports IP protection, licensing, commercialization, and entrepreneurship.
