University of the Arts London is a large, specialist public university with around 18,000 students, six Colleges and a strongly practice-based, internationally connected character. Its London location places research and teaching close to major cultural and creative-industry networks, while its Colleges, Institutes and research centres offer routes for collaboration. A dedicated Partnerships team develops bespoke company relationships, supported by live briefs, mentoring, recruitment and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships connecting businesses with academic and practitioner expertise. Research draws on competitive funding from UK Research and Innovation and related public funders, including the Arts and Humanities Research Council and Innovate UK.
