Wenzhou University

Wenzhou University is a comprehensive public research university in southern Zhejiang, with 20 schools, two campuses, and more than 23,000 full-time students. Its regional engagement model is built around cooperation with local governments, which have helped establish research institutes and industrial innovation service complexes linking university capabilities with companies and regional industrial upgrading. A university science park and regional technology-transfer center support sponsored research, intellectual-property management, licensing, incubation, and startup formation. Research draws on competitive funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Fund of China, national key science and technology programs, and provincial agencies.
