Xavier University of Louisiana is a private historically Black Catholic university with a strong health‑sciences profile anchored by a College of Pharmacy. Industry and clinical collaborators engage through NIH‑supported core laboratories and shared scientific instrumentation, and through an extensive experiential network of more than 500 preceptors and clinical sites. A long‑standing partnership with Ochsner Health is expanding into the Xavier–Ochsner College of Medicine, increasing access to an integrated health system in New Orleans’ medical corridor. Research receives competitive federal support, including the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs and formal IP policies streamline agreements, compliance, and pathways to licensing.
