Yachay Tech University

Yachay Tech is a relatively young, compact public research university established with a strong emphasis on research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Its campus in Yachay City of Knowledge places the university within a national innovation-oriented setting and provides laboratories and shared academic facilities for research and teaching. The university connects with external partners through cooperation agreements, internships, specialized services, and community and productive-sector engagement. Research is supported by institutional resources and competitive external funding, including Ecuadorian national programs such as SENESCYT and CEDIA, as well as occasional international awards. A central research and innovation office coordinates research activity and supports efforts to connect academic work with innovation and technology transfer.
