I am a PhD candidate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), Brazil, specializing in pharmaceutical nanobiotechnology. My research focuses on the design, development and characterization of lipid-based nanocarriers, particularly nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs), for the delivery of bioactive lipophilic compounds. I have experience in physicochemical characterization, long-term stability studies, thermal analysis, and in vitro and in vivo evaluation. My work has resulted in patented nanoencapsulation technologies for essential oils with applications in pain management. I am interested in collaborating with industry to develop scalable, science-based solutions that enhance product stability, performance and user experience.
