I develop bio-based materials and encapsulation systems at the interface of food, chemical, and biomedical engineering. My work includes the extraction and stabilization of bioactive compounds, nutrient delivery for fertilizer applications, bioactive compound protection for food systems, antimicrobial and therapeutic delivery platforms, rheology-guided structuring of emulsions and gels, sustainable packaging, and solutions aligned with circular economy principles.
