I research plant-nematode and microbe interactions, quantifying defense signaling and resistance trade-offs to inform crop protection. Through molecular genetics, evolutionary systems biology, and plant synthetic biology, I develop durable resistance and enhance photosynthesis and biomass for climate-smart agriculture.
