Industry and academic partnerships for sponsored research on osteoporosis, fracture healing, and pain, including collaborative studies of disease mechanisms and preclinical evaluation of candidate drugs, biomaterials, and drug-delivery technologies.
About
I am a Research Assistant Professor at West Virginia University. I develop and evaluate therapeutic strategies to prevent bone loss in osteoporosis. I also investigate how aging, osteoporosis, and metabolic diseases affect fracture healing and pain. My work combines bone biology and preclinical pharmacology to evaluate candidate therapies. I bring hands-on expertise in animal models, pain and functional testing, bone imaging, histology, and biomechanics. My work also includes nanoparticles, biomaterials, and drug-delivery systems. I welcome industry and academic partnerships to investigate disease mechanisms and evaluate treatments for bone loss, fracture repair, and pain.
