I am actively working on improving turfgrass response to abiotic stress through developing phenotyping tools and optimized experiential design.
About
I am a plant and turfgrass scientist that specializes in applied turfgrass management research and turfgrass physiology. I specialize in research focused on turfgrass stress responses (abiotic and biotic) in particular responses to light and shade. I have experience in innovative experimental design, treatment applications, and development of phenotyping tools specific to turfgrasses and their growth habits. I have expertise and experience across all sub-disciplines under the turfgrass umbrella; golf, sports, lawns, and roadsides. I am looking to help solve problems related to low-input turfgrass management including assistance in developing of improved cultivars or mixtures, helping develop new fertilizer or pesticide technology, and helping develop natural pest control products.
