About
I am an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, with a joint appointment in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. I lead the Biofabrication Lab, where my group develops printed biomaterials for wound care, controlled drug delivery, and biosensing. My lab developed BurnHeal, a 3D bioprinted bioactive hydrogel dressing that accelerated wound closure, now advancing under an NSF STTR Phase I award. I co-founded LF Printech LLC, focusing on additive manufacturing of medical devices. I am named on several patent applications spanning wound healing, transdermal delivery, and wearable therapeutic devices. I serve as Vice-Chair of the Wound Healing Society Research Funding and Promotions Committee.
