About
My lab is the Advanced Membranes Lab in the Dept of Chemical Engineering & Applied Chemistry at the University of Toronto. We work on water scarcity (especially desalination), selective ion separations, sustainable chemical production, and atmospheric CO2 removal. We have expertise in reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, and bipolar membrane electrodialysis. Our particular strength is in the design of membrane materials using polymer science approaches to achieve better performance than commercial membranes.
