Seeking parters with potential applications for nonlinear or time-resolved optical microscopy/spectroscopy techniques.
About
Developing advanced microscopy techniques for contrast between cell and tissue components that are difficult to resolve with traditional stains/dyes. We leverage light-matter interactions, nonlinear optics and real-time digital signal processing techniques. Currently focus on mitochondrial function and disease, melanoma and skin cancer detection. Tools we employ: ultrafast optics, multiphoton microscopy, sub-picosecond time-resolved optical interactions such as transient absorption, real-time DSP, and deep learning with convolutional networks and generative-adversarial networks.
