Computational Systems Biologist building models of diseases and signaling networks. We build biologically relevant signaling networks focussing on negative feedback loops what we have discovered to be the underpinnings of insulin resistance ( and resistance to chemotherapeutics.

Kiran Vanaja studies feedback-regulated cell signaling and pathway homeostasis, integrating quantitative modeling with experiments to connect networks to phenotype. Translational work spans dosing-time optimization and pathway‑targeted interventions in metabolic and cancer contexts.
